My name is Jack Chambers and I currently reside in a very remote portion of Northern California where I seem to be about the only pigeon breeder for many miles around.
I have been breeding and flying Birmingham Rollers since the 1970's and North American High Flying Rollers since the 1980's. My first "real rollers" were mostly descended from Carl Silvey bloodlines, which were widely kept in the 1970's.
I also keep a small loft of old fashioned Utility Kings for home squabbing purposes, as well as some assorted odds and ends.
I breed all my birds (except the Kings) in individual pair pens so that I have 100% control of my breedings.
I am self employed as an independent book publisher that specializes in books about self reliance, homesteading, poultry, pigeons, game birds, dogs and other avenues of animal breeding. This fortunately, does not take up as much of my life as it probably sounds, due to the advent of digital technology. This leaves me much time to devote to my interests in pigeons and other animals.
